Hi, friends. I’m Jess!

When I was a little girl my mom used to take me on little adventures. We would pick a town that I had never seen and just drive. I remember many sunny days walking around staring at all of the buildings and little shops. Watching whichever little town we were in live and breathe.

Not much has changed. I am 24 years old, and still love new experiences. I have always loved trying new food, meeting new people, and seeing new things. But I would have to say I “officially” caught the travel bug after living and working in Hyderabad, India for four months.

This trip totally changed my life by changing my perspective. India is so drastically different from anything I had seen exploring the Mid-Western United States. It was loud, colorful, and unapologetic.

I had the pleasure of meeting so many diverse people. Experienced many beautiful, deeply meaningful traditions first-hand. Saw the Taj Mahal and stared right at the face of Mount Everest.

At some point, I realized that I had seen alllll of this in just one country and there is so much more to see.

My vision for this blog is to inspire. I am just a 20 something woman from Michigan making it work. Traveling seems like an impossible luxury, but trust me it is more attainable than you think.

Along with traditional travel posts about my favorite experiences, I will be posting tips on travel for the average person. Not everyone wants to quit their jobs and travel full-time, but I strongly believe everyone should put in the extra effort and see the world.

I really hope you all enjoy this blog. I love to write and share these experiences with anyone willing to listen. My readers are everything to me and I’d love to get to know you so please feel free to contact me and share your stories or say hello!

Thanks for listening!

Love always.

Jess
